Find Refuge | Broken Form

A striking addition to Armand van Rensburg’s Find Refuge collection, Broken Form explores the relationship between fragmentation and wholeness.

The sculpture retains the recognisable form of the human face, while introducing irregular, fragmented sections that interrupt and reshape its surface. These broken elements create a layered composition, bringing contrast, depth and a sense of movement to the familiar facial form.
The interplay between the dark underlying surface and the textured turquoise patina gives the sculpture a distinctive character, balancing the appearance of something broken with the enduring presence of the face.

Handcrafted in resin in Hermanus, South Africa, Broken Form is a sculptural expression of imperfection, identity and continuity, designed to make a distinctive statement in contemporary interiors.
